Recently, an earthquake struck Turkey, causing extensive damage that cannot be easily recovered. MPS and Gatehouse Music Society are teaming up to invite renowned British pianist Bill Thomson and Hong Kong local pianist Madeline Kam to perform a four-hand piano charity concert at Gatehouse Parish Church in Scotland. The concert will be streamed online on MPS's Facebook and Youtube channels on April 22, 2023 at 5:00 pm, for the sake of fund raising for earthquake relief and rebuilding efforts in Turkey and Syria.

The concert will feature a Steinway Concert Grand Piano. The two musicians will perform a recital of piano duet repertoires by Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Khachaturian, Bizet, Rachmaninov, Bernstein and Piazzolla, showcasing the beauty and charmless of piano duet repertoires across different musical era and styles.
